…and 1 year anniversary of this site. Thank you for visiting, I hope you find something fun and free to do. I started this site a year ago because there are a lot of free/cheap things to do in Portland (the city I love) but not a clear source to find the information. A year later, I am still fiddling with the details but I am proud of myself for consistently adding events. I even went to a few! Of course, there are always things that slip past my radar.
I can’t believe my little hobby is still alive – we somehow lived through that terrible hosting provider. For some reason it kept getting overclocked everytime more than 30 Russians visited. Shout out to my Russian fan base 
Somehow the whole site lived through the move when I was absolutely sure I was going to have to start from scratch all over again! Did I mention I don’t really know what I’m doing? Haha. My goal for this year is to post more and work on finding ways to make elcheapopdx self sustainable.
