Music to my ears! Basically, lots of free concerts happening all over Portland. The Cathedral Park Jazz Festival hits St. John’s this weekend (July 15-17) and the much anticipated PDX POP NOW! festival kicks off on the 22nd. The Portland Streetcar Music Fest shares that weekend partying down on the 23rd.
I can’t wait to check out the brand new Portlandia Mermaid Parade happening July 30th.
In August, the beat goes on, starting with the Galaxy Dance Festival (August 4-6) & the Washington Park Summer Festival (August 4-7). And if you act now you may still be able to register for the PDX Adult Soapbox Derby on August 20th, if not, consider it a spectator sport.
