With more than 10,000 acres of public parks here in Portland, whether you live year year round or are visiting from far away, you are most likely are near a park. Our robust Portland Parks & Recreation Department is hosting over 400 free events all across the city, they range from free lunches (for kids) to full on concerts and movie nights. Many community centers are offering free swim hours and there are even fitness classes popping up so you can get your namaste on.
